Chauncy mentioned your name and, seeing as we are currently seeking interns, I would be more than happy to give you a paid internship position with our law-firm. We will, of course, be more than happy to work around your school schedule.
Furthermore, I would love your opinion on how we can improve the endeavor center and what we can do to help imPorts that are not of age.
Thank you for contacting me. I am honored that Mr. Anderson thought me worth mentioning. I will admit, I have never given much thought to the subject of law work, but I am interested in learning more about the justice system of this world.
Obviously, I have some questions.
- What sort of law do you practice? - What duties would I be expected to perform in this position? - What hours are you expecting for this position? I will warn you in advance that I am already committed to another mentorship at Darin Altway's Forge as well as an internship and training with the Justice League.
I have yet to visit the Endeavor Center, but I do support the work they are doing, and I would cherish a chance to be a part of an effort to improve the lives of ImPorts my age.
Hey, Momo! I just heard about this Halloween stuff. Do you have this holiday in your world? Anyway, I wanna brainstorm some costumes and I could use your input.
Oh, and I actually have a favor to ask you, if you've got time. Kinda personal but I couldn't think of anyone else to ask.
Yes, we have Halloween in Japan, though the traditions are somewhat different there than in America. Costumes are still a big part of it, though. I would be glad to help you come up with a costume!
[ Oh? A favor? Momo is honored that Darin would entrust her with something so personal... ]
Of course! You can count on me. What is it you need?
Momo stares at her phone for a good long minute, not knowing how to reply. She's thought about Lester a lot in the past month or so, since their kiss at the swearing-in ceremony. In that time, she's learned that he has a significant other, and come to the conclusion that the kiss probably meant a lot more to her than it did to him.
SO she doesn't want to come off in her reply text as overeager, or too needy. BUT she doesn't want to come off as too standoffish either!! She wants to find a happy medium. ]
Lunch or coffee sounds fine. Where and when shall I meet you?
[ And then, belatedly, ] I'm glad that you're back.
((Ooc: Red will be porting out permanently the day after Christmas, so there will not be a log as planned for the gift exchange. You can, however, assume that he had a small gathering at his house for those interested the Saturday before Christmas. Please feel free to thread your character's exchange in that setting via IC inboxes if you wish!))
[ Merry Christmas, Momo! As his student and a part of the Justice League, Momo will receive a small box of chocolates and a pair of goggles - for flying, if they ever get there. ]
[ As a good friend, Lester's sent over a small care package - upon opening it, Momo will find a set of 6 custom stickers with a floral aesthetic, along with two tins of loose leaf Earl Grey tea from local De Chima tea houses!
It comes with a note: ]
For the girl who seems to love tea as much as I love music.
A magazine is a printed periodical, typically centered around a particular theme or subject. You can subscribe to magazine and have it delivered to you on a regular schedule, or you can purchase individual issues at a bookstore or newsstand!
( Arriving in the mail today is a slim, black envelope addressed to you, closed with a black wax seal. On opening, there’s an invitation. How curious! )
[ At least there was one pleasant thing about her return to this world...
Momo sends a handwritten letter back to Tony's address, on pink flowery stationery. ]
Dear Tony Stark-san,
I would be honored to attend your party. Thank you very much for the invitation. If there is anything I can do or bring to help you prepare, please don't hesitate to ask.
No one needed to know. He's sincerely going out of his way, but it didn't seem like a bad idea to leave Momo something, too. The presents were spread out as not to draw attention, Ochako's telescope and the Christmas arranged basket full of chocolates, sweets and teas, or holiday drinks that weren't perishable. There were a small array of bloom teas too. He had no idea what those were like, he just knew the popularity of things at his old job, one he no longer held. Asking his frightened, coward of an ex-coworker to help him had been an easy deal to figuring out what to put in it.
This, however, he knew better than to put his name to, or writing to. Instead he had the coworker write it out for him, it was just her name and as quickly as he was there to drop it off, it was as quickly as he was gone.

Hello, please assist in a quick survey:
Would you prefer CHOICE A or CHOICE B?
Thank you.

I... think I have to choose Choice B, if only because I don't understand Choice A. I think I may be missing an important reference.

Listen, if you're not too busy with school or whatever...think you could stop by my forge?
There's...something I kinda wanna pick your brain about. If you're busy, no worries.
[VOICE]
[ Calling people by their first names is still a little strange, to Momo, but she's making an effort with the Westerners, at least. ]
I can come by this afternoon, if that's alright? I hope it's nothing too pressing...

Anyway, this is Lester. I was wondering if we could catch up? Maybe over lunch and/or coffee?
