nah, we're fine. it's not that big of a deal, it's just controlling our own blood like in a cartoon or something i can kind of use it like my jacks, so it's been pretty helpful, actually
Yes, he does, but... If I'm not mistaken, part of Vlad King sensei's quirk prevents him from suffering the ill effects of blood loss. I don't know. I guess I'm just worried, like Kirishima-san is, that one of you might get hurt from losing too much blood.
oh. if that's all it is, you don't gotta worry about me, at least i've been focusing on figuring out how to solidify it so i can use it with my kinetic magic, so i can just cap off any wounds that way.
As long as you train it, even if it's gross, it shouldn't be any different from other magic. Just be careful. You don't want to knock yourself out of commission when you're doing something.
[It just makes sense, why give magic that's only detrimental? It's easier to think of it like quirks, as everyone else seems to be doing.]
[- Oh. Somehow, Tamaki sort of helping her out here wasn't something she really expected?? But hey, she'll absolutely take it.]
thanks, senpai you don't have to worry either, i promise. i plan on training it as much as i can. i don't wanna risk using it for real before i've got the basics down, just figuring out my kinetic magic on the fly's been hard enough
I think I know what you mean, there is a lot of blood in some hero dramas and anime... But I don't think I've seen one where they control their blood. [Which ones are you watching, Jiro??] With everyone saying it's just like any other tool I think I can try to get used to it too!
you know what? i'm not even surprised you're deep into hero dramas and whatever, midoriya. it was just some early morning kid's show where they had to color it all pink or whatever, though; i caught just a little of it before my old man got embarrassed and changed the channel. :)
[Her poor old dad, just trying to have fun only to get roasted by his own daughter --]
but if you want, we could probably start working together to figure out some ways you can apply it, too. i've been using mine with my kinetic magic, but i'm sure you can figure out something really cool with your alchemy
Yeah...! A lot of them are really good. And it sounds like your dad was trying to watch out for you. I used to be a little jumpy about watching them when I was a kid but I like them a lot now!
[Okay spoilers- he cried a lot at the "scary" ones but he's not saying that.]
But that would be great! Maybe you, me and Kirishima-kun could work on it together! Using your kinetic magic with yours sounds like a great idea. I'll have to make some notes on what I could do with alchemy. Technically blood does have a high iron content. Ahhh.
let's do it, then! besides, i probably could use some kind of spotter i mean, i do my best to be careful, but it could be kind of scary if i mess up, right?
i don't know what it was called! like i told yaomomo, it's my old man who watches them! i'm not about to spend hours of my life in front of the tv for cartoons of all things, cmon
[Hahaha, who does a silly thing like watch CARTOONS, right? Surely not Ochako and her enormous list of pirated magical girl and/or space/robot themed anime that she had on her laptop back home, hahaha...]
Right... I guess there are more mature animes and stuff out there for adults. I don't...like that kinda stuff. >n<;;
yeah no, neither does my dad it was something playing around noon. the blood was all some goofy color to get away with it on kid's channel. but they kept calling it blood, so.
[It's okay, Ochako. Somewhere out there is a kindred spirit in the form of Jiro's forty-year-old father. It's not just for little kids!!!]
[That's why Jirou has the Cool Dad™. Though, to be fair, most modern cartoons nowadays are geared toward a mixed audience, with humor for both kids and adults. It's kind of a mixed bag sometimes.]
Oooh okay, I think I know what you're talking about. Yeah, when it's goofy and harmless like that, it's not so bad - actually kind of funny. I just don't like things having to do with a lot of horror elements and stuff, you know? Not so much the blood - we see that all the time even during training - but like...the gross stuff. I can't stomach that...and you all know to stand back when my stomach acts up. ^^;;
aw man, me too... i'm pretty lucky my old man's a wimp, horror like that usually comes with jumpscares and whatever, you know?
[Never forget how Jiro decided to say "I don't like scary things" out loud to the entire class during their training camp. She's just too anxious for that sort of thing. Everyday crime thrillers and whatever she can handle just fine! It's when they start pulling punches - like adding in ghosts - that she loses her cool.]
i promise you won't see anything like that from me with my magic, though. the most i've been trying with it is solidifying it. you know, making little crystals and junk so i can toss them around with my kinetic magic.
EXACTLY!!!! I HATE THAT!! Dx I can fight a bunch of villains, no problem, ubt I can't punch or throw things at ghosts, Jirou-chan!!
[They are truly kindred spirits in this regard. Ochako feels you, homegirl. Spooky shit is the actual worst ever and the Test of Courage at the training camp (before it all went to shit) was so, so bad. She had to hold Tsuyu's hand through the entire ordeal. Literally the worst (not the hand holding, though. Tsu is a best friend and deserves many, many hugs for being an emotional support frog).]
I know...but I still do worry about you guys, you know? Please don't push that type of magic too much...it sounds kinda dangerous is you use a lot of it at once. Besides, I can probably teach you how to use your kinetic magic on a bunch of different things. Since it's so similar to my quirk, I basically have instant ammunition so long as something's not held down. I just have to think about picking it up and tossing it now. It's so much EASIER!! Only problem is my weight capacity is a lot smaller with my magic than it is with my quirk.

but i swear i caught a scene of a villain throwing it around like a whip once
[... And after a pause, realizing what she's said, here -]
that doesn't mean it's something you'd only see from villains though! i mean
doesn't 1-B's teacher have some blood quirk or something??
[If this weren't Momo, she probably wouldn't care enough to justify it, honestly...]

I don't know.
I guess I'm just worried, like Kirishima-san is, that one of you might get hurt from losing too much blood.

[ PRESS X TO DOUBT. ]
I suppose I'll have to take your word for it. If worse comes to worst, I do at least know of a healer who can help.

if you can watch out for me, you'll be able to help if something goes wrong, right?
i won't be using it for real until i've got a handle on it, so training's the only time you gotta worry about it.
