it keeps showing up when im doing stuff and dropping a bunch off at my feet

I can see how you might have been confused, the two do look similar.

Do you think your familiar is trying to communicate to you through the language of flowers?
If that's the case... Chamomile represents a few different concepts. In modern times, it's associated with rest and relaxation (think of chamomile tea!) but in the Victorian era it was used to symbolize "energy in adversity."

So your familiar is either telling you to get some rest, or it's trying to tell you to do your best!

it represents rest AND energy? those are total opposites of each other...
it does it most when i'm trying to train though. so it's either telling me to take a break or keep going??

It's not exactly the most effective way to get a message across, is it?
The problem with the language of flowers is that it's very open to interpretation, and the meanings and associations can change over time.

Have you tried asking it yes or no questions, to try to confirm what it's trying to say?

Flashcards could work. Or a simple code, such as one note meaning "yes," another note meaning "no." Things like that.

it wouldn't be TOO hard to teach my familiar how to use it, right?

Oh! Morse code would be a great idea! I'm not sure whether they'll have any books on it at the library, but it's worth a look. And if they don't, maybe someone on AOL will be able to help.
