- Answer the following questions as your character. If your character would refuse to answer, have them respond how they would naturally, but include internal dialogue in either prose or brackets (your choice) with their thoughts on it.
- Q1: You've been stranded on a desert island with only one standard-size travel suitcase. If you could only have 3 items in that suitcase, what would you want those items to be and why?
"Only three items?" Momo taps her chin, thinking. "Does a case of food count as one item? I'm not sure if that would be considered cheating or not. But... If it's not cheating, then, I would have three cases of high calorie food bars. As long as I have enough to eat, I can create anything else I might need, like an axe to chop down firewood or water filtration equipment, or signal flares so that I can be rescued."
- Q2: Tell us about a defining event in your life that you think influenced who you are today.
"A single event? I don't know, that's kind of hard to pin down, isn't it? ...Mm, but it doesn't have to be the single most defining event, just any one event that was defining in forming me into who I am now?"
Maybe she's overthinking this. That does sound like something she would do.
"Then, the first event that comes to mind is the Quirk Apprehension Test we took on our first day as students at U.A. In my entire class of twenty students, I ranked first out of everyone. That was really the first time I felt like I had had the chance to demonstrate my potential as a pro hero." - Q3: What does family mean to you and who do you consider a part of your family?
"My mother and father are both highly ranked and well respected members of the pro hero community, and I have been blessed that they have raised me with the knowledge and ambition to follow in their footsteps. I don't have any siblings, so my parents are really the only biological family I have. But if we were to expand the definition of 'family' a bit, then I would say that my classmates are like my family. Especially now that we're all living in the dorms together. They are who I spend most of my time with, and I would do anything for them. That is enough to make them family, isn't it?"
- Q4: Tell me about a time you were involved in a personal conflict (not a physical fight). What would you do differently to resolve it?
"When we were trying to decide what our class was going to do for the school festival, everyone pretty much agreed on the idea of a musical performance, but right away people started trying to pressure my friend Jirou-san into taking the lead, when I know, and they should have known, that isn't really her style. I tried to argue on her behalf that she didn't have to go along with what everyone else wanted her to do, but in the end she agreed to lead the band. It ended up turning out well for everyone, but... As vice-representative of the class, I should have worked harder to make sure Jirou-san didn't feel pressured to participate."
- Q5: Do you have any regrets? If so, what are the biggest ones? If not, what is something you wish you had gotten to do back home?
Momo is silent for a long moment as she thinks about this one, looking down at her hands. Finally, she shakes her head. "There are some things I wish had happened differently, but I don't think I regret any of them. Even when I failed, or wasn't performing at my best, I learned from the experience and became better for it. You might think that I would regret the way my battle in the sports festival went, being pushed out of bounds so easily by Tokoyami-san, but... It just taught me to react more quickly under pressure. So no, I don't regret it at all."
